KASWE Fall 2025 Conference Registration Open

Hello Kentucky Social Work educators!

As we look forward to starting the new academic year KASWE has some exciting announcements to share!   The conference registration is officially live. Follow the link below to register:

On the form you will have instructions on how to pay for the conference (remember students are free) and information about the hotel block. The block is good until August 24th so do not delay reserving your room. The Hampton Inn is the hotel most central to campus (right downtown Pikeville), but there are additional options a bit further out. The conference will be conducted over two days and the full agenda will be available mid August. CEU's will be provided for as many sessions as meet the standards for continuing education set forth by the board. Please share with other social work educators and your students!

KASWE Fall 2025 Conference Save the Date!

Hello everyone 

The KASWE Spring Conference has been postponed and will now take place in the Fall of 2025 at the University of Pikeville. Please see the information below regarding new conference dates and call for proposals. 

It is with great excitement that I share with you the call for conference proposals and the save the date for the upcoming KASWE Fall Conference hosted by the University of Pikeville School of Social Work . Please kindly share the following information with your students and fellow social work educators and alert them to the new dates and deadline for proposal submission. 

The event will be held on Sept 25- 26, 2025 at the University of Pikeville. 

We invite students and educators of Kentucky social work programs to submit their conference proposal for consideration by August 1st by using the link below.

KASWE Fall 2024 Conference Invitation

Our fall Kentucky Association of Social Work Educators (KASWE) conference is on Thursday, October 3, and Friday, October 4.  Attached is the flyer and the current itinerary. Use the QR code on the flyer to register your social work faculty and staff.  We look forward to getting everyone together!!  Please share the flyers and info with any social workers who might be interested in social work education and want to participate.  All are welcome! 

Note: Social work students are welcome to attend BUT they would probably find the spring meeting more interesting.  It is our student-focused conference each year and provides an opportunity to share research and learning. 

The KASWE fall business meeting will be held during lunch.  You are welcome to join the board for their discussion!  NKU is kindly providing lunch for everyone so we will take our lunches to the meeting room set aside for us. Please contact our Fabulous NKU KASWE conference organizer Nicole Brundidge with questions!
